Mark 16:15 Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

The Greek word for Go is Poreuomia and literally means Go,depart, to walk, and a journey. The Greek word for all is Hapas and literally means Absolutely all or every one. the Greek word for every is Pas and literally means all, any and every. so when Jesus was saying Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. he was really saying GO ye into ALL the world, and preach the gospel to EVERY creature.

Trevor Yaxley said "Here is are command and sending there are no exceptions-every Christian is commanded to go."

If the command to "preach the Gospel to every creature" were only to the eleven dispels, preaching of the gospel would have stopped when they died. Every Christen is a disciple the word in Greek is mathetes, and simply means ’’a learner’’. It is used in reference to the eleven as well as to believers such as Joseph Ananias, and others Jesus used the term in referents to any one who would believe in him.

  1. I absolutely agree! In your opinion, which religion as a whole would you say do all its members voluntarily and zealously do this preaching work in the most organized and thorough way as a united worldwide group?

  2. Like your word etimologies. How do YOU go about preaching to EVERY creature?

  3. Isn't it interesting that Jesus as well as his disciples did NOT expect people to come to them (as most churches do today), but went TO the people by witnessing in the marketplace AND from house to house. (Acts 20:20)

  4. Which organization or religious group, in your opinion, takes this command seriously, and organizes ALL its baptized members worldwide to do this important, life-saving preaching work?

  5. Thats funny you all aks the same Qustion. Jehovah's witnesses preach more althouw I would not call it preaching, since the Jehovah witnesses are a cult and believe in a compleat diferant Jesus then the Bible says he is.

  6. One of the definitions of a cult is that its members follow a particular human leader or teacher. Jehovah's Witnesses do not look to any human but follow Jesus Christ as their leader.

Another definition of a cult is that its members usually live in one or more small groups which are isolated from society. Jehovah's Witnesses live and work in the midst of other people and may be found in every country on the earth.

The Bible says over and over and over again that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. That is exactly what Jehovah's Witnesses believe.

Apparently you have been mislead about this religion, James. Do some research for yourself please. Visit a Kingdom Hall. Go to www.watchtower.org. Don't just blindly believe what others say about us without checking the facts first. (Just as you would certainly not appreciate people making derogatory comments about you before knowing the truth, neither do we.)

  7. You don't know the true definition of a cult, the true definition of a cult is, somthing that clames to be Christian, but is not, that is exacly what the Jehovah's witnesses is.

Also when the Bible says Jesus Christ is the son of God, it is simply showing the relasonship between God and Jesus.

Apparently you have been mislead about your own cult, Please set aside the new world translation of the Bible and all your Jehovah's witnesses books and just read the real Bible.

  8. "...when the Bible says Jesus Christ is the son of God, it is simply showing the relasonship between God and Jesus." Exactly. I couldn't have stated it better.

And...what dictionary are you using for your definition of the word cult?
