"My God would never create hell."

Matthew 18:9 And if your eye causes your downfall, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life with one eye, rather than to have two eyes and be thrown into hellfire!
People who say that are right their "god" could never create Hell, because their god dose not exist, he is a figment of their imagination. That is called idolatry and its the second commandment of ten. Idolaters shall not inherit the Kingdom of God( 1 Corinthians 6:9). The one true God did create hell for the devil his angels, and the ones that turn and reject His mercy. They will get His just wrath. C. S. Lewis said
"There is no doctrine which I would more willingly remove from Christianity than the doctrine of hell, if it lay in my power. But it has the full support of scripture and, especially of our Lords own words; it has always been held by the Christian Church, and it has the support of reason".

  1. Here are 2 simple reasons why the doctrine of an eternal torment in hellfire is not a scriptural teaching - Jeremiah 7:31; 1 John 4:8,16.

  2. Because God is Love, thats why you don't belive in eternal hell. Well because God is love He will send all those who dont repent and trust in Jesus Christ to hell. Because He is also holy, just and good. Just like His law, His law is holy, just and good, therefore He must send sinners to hell.

put it like this, lets say that I stole somthing and I was cought, brought to court and the juge said "the evadaince is here you gowing to jail." Then I responded back and said "but you a loving and good juge, you could never send me to jail." The juge would probably say "yea's because Im a good and loving juge Im ganna see that justice is served."

That is exacly what you are doing with God, and because He is loving he will send sinners to Eternal hell HE will preform justice.

  3. Yes, he is the epitome of perfect justice. Just as he punished Adam and Eve, and as he will punish Satan the Devil and others who blatantly disregard his laws (after they've received accurate knowledge of him and have had a chance to repent and turn around, but do not) he will also punish wicked mankind . . . with everlasting death, NOT eternal punishment as many wrongly believe. Indeed, punishing someone forever would not be perfect justice. "An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth." Since none of mankind has sinned FOREVER, so none will be punished FOREVER. That would be unjust, and we know that our almighty God is not that way.

Do some research on Gehenna (which is not the same as Sheol (the Hebrew word for hell) or Hades (the Greek word for hell). Also you might do more research more on God's qualities in light of Jeremiah 7:31 and 32:35.

  4. Oh, and I liked your illustration. Yes, the judge would act justly, giving the thief the punishment he deserves, likely a fine and a LIMITED time in jail. He would not torture him in a burning fire and leave him there forever. That would not be just.

In the Mosaic law, if a man stole something, he would have to give back what he took four-fold, sometimes five-fold. Even if a person killed another person, he would not be thrown in a burning fire, but would be killed to pay back for the life he stole. Only then would the DEAD (unbreathing, unfeeling, unconscious) human be thrown into Gehenna, which was Jerusalem's garbage dump. (Eccl 9:5,10)

  5. Jorge First of all you have been misleed, Jesus Christ Him self spole more of hell then He did of hevan. Yes punishmeant in hell forever is completly just of God, and if God did not punish sinners in hell then he would not be loving and would not be just.

Listen to these words from C.S. Liwis he said "There is no doctrine which I would more willingly remove from Christianity then the doctrine of hell, if it lay in my power. But it has the full support of scripture and, especially, of our Lord's own words; it has always been held by the Christian Church, and it has the support of reason."

I don't like the Idea of hell as much as you do, But matter how much we say that it is not true it will always be true.

I said "People who say that are right their "god" could never create Hell, because their god dose not exist, he is a figment of their imagination.
