Jonah 1:2-3

Jonah 1:2 "Get up! Go to the great city of Nineveh and preach against it, because their wickedness has confronted Me."
Jonah 1:3 However, Jonah got up to flee to Tarshish from the LORD's presence. He went down to Joppa and found a ship going to Tarshish. He paid the fare and went down into it to go with them to Tarshish, from the LORD's presence.
Charles H. Spurgeon said "Ah! How foolish we are! How we repeat the folly of our first parent every day when we seek to hide sin from conscience, and think it is hidden from God." How true this is, but God forbid that we imitate Jonah. He fled "from the present of the Lord." A fish would do better to try to flee from the presents of the ocean. Instead "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to the whole creation (mark16:15). Visit www.thewayofthemaster.com

  1. I saw a link to your blog on Trish's website.

You are an exceptional young man - my hero! I'm really excited to see preteens eager about evangelism, preaching the Cross and Christ crucified! I'm going to encourage my brother who is your age to begin reading your blog!

    Thumbs up brother!

    Your sister in Christ,
